International Women's Day Awards

Le Magnifique Events along with Something Creative organized the International Women’s Day Awards 2017 for Indian Council for UN Relations (ICUNR) under the mentorship of Mrs. Ratan Kaul, who was the Chief Advisor for the event which was held at the beautiful premises of Le Meridien in New Delhi. The event was supported by Delhi Government and Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI). This was an occasion to felicitate women from different walks of life for their social, economic, cultural and political achievements. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Kapil Mishra, the then Minister of Art, Culture & Languages and Tourism in the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The Guest of Honours included notable personalities including Padma Vibhushan, Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Aishwarya Rajnikanth Dhanush, Naina Lal Kidwai, Aruna Oswal and Swati Maliwal. Some of the awardees were Shereen Bhan, Priya Sachdev, Swati Maliwal, Evelyne Collin, Renu Hussain amongst other women achievers. The celebrations began with a Panel Discussion on “The Idea of India – Brand India & the Role of Women in Nation Building”, anchored by Sreerupa Sil from BusinessWorld, which was the Outreach Partner for the event. The guests had a great evening concluded over a lavish High Tea.
